I’ve been trying different brands of MRE’s for my hunting pack over the years and all I have to say about the Z-Rations is that they are by far the best. The heater is really good and the mini Tabasco was a bonus. The main course, (which was chili,) was pretty much the same as the other MRE’s, which isn’t bad. The bonus was the many snacks and energy bar.
Everything was fresh and sealed very well. The delivery outpaces any company that Ive recently done business with.
I order 4-6 times a year and AllMRE’s never disappoints.

I have experienced MRE's and C Rations from the USA and many foreign countries. I have found the MRE's at AllMRE to be of excellent price and taste. They are a lot lighter to carry around compared to the Russian MRE's. You should give them a try, they are worth the effort!
The MRE (Meal, Ready to Eat) is a self contained complete meal; one MRE equals one meal. The packaging of an MRE is designed to withstand rough conditions and exposure to the elements. Inside each MRE bag is an entree and a variety of other food and drink items. MRE's come packaged in cases with 12 MRE's per case. There are currently 24 different “menus” (or varieties) of MRE's. Menus 1-12 are packaged in a case designated Case A and menus 13-24 are packaged in a case designated Case B.
